Padel court builder leads: how to reach clubs before they open
When to contact new padel club owners, based on where tracked US projects sit today.
For a padel court builder, the best lead is a club that has a site and a plan but has not signed a court contract. In our data that window is surprisingly wide.
Where projects sit today
Of 60 tracked projects, 44 are at announced, planning/zoning, site plan or building permit stage and 10 are under construction. For padel specifically, 21 of 28 projects are pre-construction.
Timing your outreach by stage
- Announced / planning-zoning
- Owner is validating the site. Good time for introductions, layout help and budget guidance.
- Site plan
- Court count and layout are being fixed. Court system, canopy/roof clearance and lighting are in play.
- Building permit
- Contractors are often being selected. Late, but still open for many packages.
- Under construction and later
- Court supply is usually decided; fit-out (booking, cameras, signage) may still be open.
How to reach owners
- Planning documents usually name the applicant or agent, which is a legitimate, public first contact.
- Lead with something useful for their stage (layout, lead times, permitting requirements), not a catalogue.
- Track stage changes so you follow up when a decision is actually due.
